音乐这一只猛兽

将近1 年半的工作，JZ8的制作已进入尾声，而等候了两年的2V1G（二）在二月的一个晚上，开始了第一段乐句的录制，美好的感觉从四方澎湃汹涌而至。

音乐真的是一只会让你无怨无悔投入其怀的猛兽。当预期的声音一一在录音室中流泻，我们对着录音盘、扬声器，电脑，还有一组组的音效合成组合，就如对着战场上并肩作战多年的老战友，庆幸这么多年的烽火和灾难，我们忐忑不安的心依然灼热一如往昔。

制作音乐，真的是一件会让你不顾一切所有而去完成的可怕的工作。

因为它的可怕，所以我们必须更坚强。

最原始的感动

距离上一张《2V1G》，将近两年的时间了。两年以来，工作的关系，几乎天天都在唱歌。有时候，会忽然觉得自己的歌声少了一种真挚与诚恳。和Roger练习《你的背包》，发现自己在越是简单的和弦里，表现得越是战战兢兢，我一直很担心自己没有办法把这首歌处理好，就像两年前第一次录《是否》那样，完全掌控不了那一种心境。我总是不太满意自己那个晚上的表现。想找回最原始的感动。
 

直到昨天晚上，闭上双眼，静静地聆听Roger很纯粹的吉他伴奏。它说的是一种淡淡的哀愁。

“你已经选择离开，而坚持留下的，只有我。我原谅自己的执著，也原谅你的脆弱。然而你施舍给我的，是一个牢牢的枷锁。逃不了，我只好默默地继续和自己纠缠。”

感叹啊，对于自在乎的人和事，我们总是特别执著。都人去楼空了，却依旧不肯放手。

一个人，戴上耳机，在录音室里。一盏微弱的灯光，召唤一些往事。一共唱了七遍，每一遍，感触都比上一遍来得还要清晰。第七遍，那是我最原始的记忆，也是我最赤裸裸的感受。

完成了《你的背包》，我的心是满足的。透过唱歌，我认识自己，确定自己认真的生活着。因为认真生活，才对生命有很多体验和感触。不管是好的，是坏的；轰轰烈烈，轻描淡写，都真真实实的经历了。生命不需要太多花俏的技巧来经营，我们偶尔都需要感受到一份简单的真情。

Roger这一只厚实拨弦的手

28日晚上，完成2V1G （2）5首歌曲的录制，那一夜，我们结账离开Mamak档，Roger伸出手对我说：Happy New Year！凌晨2点，听到他说这一句话的那一刹那，连日来疲惫紧绷的情绪忽然间松弛，我真的有一点的感动，心想，明天的他，将再次独自飞回东马，那是一种怎么样的心情呢？

在我们为自设目标努力的路程中，能够找到一个拥有共同理想而又可以一起并肩作战的朋友，是上天对我们的恩赐，Roger为人随和、谦虚、有礼、好学、负责，更懂得自重互重，且身为我国Fingers Picking Guitar第一人的他，从来不曾在人前炫耀和自夸。我想，报答像Roger这样的一个音乐人，唯一的途径，就是把音乐做好。

2V1G（2）的第一天

2V1G（2）今天正式录音。

Roger从东马飘洋过海来到吉隆坡，Winnie何芸妮再次展现她强而有力，收放自如的肺量，而新成员更是没有让大家失望的交出了应有的战绩。

制作过程难免患得患失，我们便在互相打气扶持之下拼斗了一天。

明天还是要继续。

2v1g 第二张专辑开案啦！[2v1g's sophomore album kicks off!]

so after many hurdles and delays, finally we kicked off our 2nd album's production!

it has been a year since we last had our kick-off meeting and it is so exciting to be able to do another album of 2v1g! it is going to be another memorable chapter in our lives!

the committee, with our new "V", sheena lim, met today to discuss several things, chief of all is the songs selection for the 2nd album.

we have shortlisted 15 songs and the girls are going to have a practice with my producer by the end of the month to finalize the songs. we also would like roger to consider doing one solo as a bonus track.

the economic climate is very bad now but with less competition, we are sure 2v1g will shine!

all we can say is that all the songs we chose have very strong characters. compared to last album, which is ballad-centric, this time we have more mid-tempo songs and more power ballads.

overall, the melody is very strong and it has got plenty of variety.

we wish to launch it by end of july.... god willing.

are you excited? we certainly are!

生日白日梦 [dream a llittle dream]

today is my birthday and 2v1g's debut album - which is hitting the stores today - is my greatest present. birthday present seldom comes as sweet as this :-)

on this very special day, i would like to dream a little dream.

i would like to dream on the possibility of starting our 2nd album by the end of this year.

it is gonna be like this:

[1] we will add two more instruments, probably an accordian (i love the earthy tone!) and a cello or even a harmonica.

[2] we will hold a competition in a certain music college famed for music arrangement. the student who comes out with the best arrangement for our songs will get RM500 for each song.

[3] songs for 2nd album will be themed along the 80s' rock ballads from the likes of zhao chuan [赵传] and qi qin [ 齐秦]

[4] we will send our two singers for specialized jazz vocal training so they would sound different and refreshing in the 2nd album

[5] and funds permitting, we will have our own studio!

everything starts from a dream, from the greatest inventions on earth to something as small and as insignificant as a 2v1g album.

and i dare to dream ;-)
